Musik für Sächsische Altstädte bei Nacht

A long time ago I lived in all these places. We moved different ways. Sometimes - when it's quiet - we think of each other. And how - independently - we moved through the river of time, trying to hold on to something yet yearning to get washed away.

I tried to create music that looms uneasy without confidence and in an unfocused way, its inhabitants unaware of what they're actually doing.

All drums were played individually, not together like a drummer would play them. Extra slow adds to the unease. Some friends were invited to jam out some stuff on top of the "beats" - only knowing the key of the piece. These musician's were kept in the dark about the point, the goal and the approach of this music. The spooky mess that was edited from their playing, combined with the wonky drums conveys the feeling that inspired this EP.
